Breakup! Why Did Courtney Cox and David Arquette Break Up?

After eleven years of marriage, Courtney Cox and David Arquette have called it quits. It is just a separation for now but it looks like divorce is on its way.

Eleven years is a long time for a celebrity couple to be married. In fact, in today's world, eleven years is a great success! 

Still, fans of the couple are heart broken. Up until now, Courtney Cox and David Arquette have been touted as a strong, adorable, loving Hollywood couple! Fans coo over their daughter Coco and can't believe this break up has happened!

While Courtney Cox was the one to officially announce the break up, David Arquette did not hesitate to share the couple's dirty laundry with pal Howard Stern.

From the interview with Howard Stern:

“After our 11th anniversary she gave me the motorcycle and said she didn’t want to be my mother anymore!”

Interesting that he should share this information. Is it possible that Courtney Cox is fed up with David Arquette because he is one big baby? Is that possible? Courtney Cox is busy being a mother, she doesn't have time to be your mother too David!

David also confessed to Howard that he had cheated on Courtney Cox with a waitress Jasmine Waltz and that Courtney gave him permission to do so.

“She knows she’s not f***ing me, and she’s like, ‘Listen, I want you to be able to do whatever you have to do,’” he said.

It is always so interesting to me how modern couples today approach problems in their marriage. Courtney Cox is over her man. The solution? Go ahead hunny! Go sleep with someone else! Is that really the solution? It seems like a way to push the marital issues to the side while she focuses on herself. What about therapy?

Is their relationship worth saving or not?

"If she meets somebody that makes her happier than me, that's all I want for her."

It sounds nice, sort of. Of course you want your wife to be happy. Happy with you! What happened to marriage vows? (seems like a monotonous question these days)
Is this really the end of the Arquettes? Can they make it work? Is it just too late?

Jasmine Waltz is a bartender in Los Angeles and an aspiring actress. Interestingly enough, she appeared in two episodes of "Dirt" starring Courtney Cox and David Arquette was the executive producer!

Are we mad at Jasmine? Not really. Courtney knew about it and it was probably her idea. Still, it is sad to see another women be the last straw in the divide between this Hollywood couple!

David Arquette confirmed on Howard Stern that Courtney and David told Coco together when they went to the beach to break the news of the couple's split.

Applauds all around for this mature approach! That's co-parenting! Clearly, telling Coco together was the best choice...

But then again you have to wonder if David's blunt honesty about his failed marriage is going to have a negative impact on his daughter. Is David Arquette protecting his daughter? Eh...
